My colleagues and myself were asking the question " Just what is the endgame BA are working towards?" for the last five years, and slowly it became more and more obvious.
Sincerest best wishes to all the BA regional staff who've worked so hard and selflessly for all these years. It's a sad day and so typical of the corportate BA mentality to lose it's best asset without caring a jot. May you all find decent hobs where your talents are valued and appreciated as they should. Best look out side of aviation though.
To all my New colleagues in FlyBE, thanks for your wishes, I certainly look forward to working with some of you, probably quite soon. The IOM base is glad to be joining you, and a warm welcome is assured to any who come over to cover our operation while we're away training on FlyBE S.O.Ps or Q400 courses. The Cabin crew will be hospitable and friendly too. -Most are taken though!
