Blank screen in DOS

Here's one.

Whenever I open a DOS windown in WIN 98 or restart in MSDOS mode, my screen goes blank.

I suspect it's a video mode/card problem. Possibly either an entry in the config.sys file or a CMOS setting.

Any ideas??
