I was an Marine Engineer , however they were still flying the skyhawks , which we sold to NZ then leased back from them until maybe 5-6 years ago . Amazing Acft to watch at Low level during Air defence Drills . Those Kiwi pilots where bloody mad !
A few hit the dirt in early 2000-2001 one in a low level refueling ( inverted) at Nowra aother i NZ and i belive another in WA, Which virtullay saw them taken out of service which was a real shame .
