The "Gold Fish " club member, who is only one of about 10 in all the Worlds Navies, was doing " Hit and Gitts " on the Melbourne of the coast near Brisbane for a bunch of , " VIPs " on board.
He had, Hit and was doing the Gitt, when he was passed by a wheel.
First thought, some silly bugger has just lost a wheel, whoops, it's me.
Later, landing on a foamed runway at RAAF Amberley, on the drop tanks, with minimul damage to the Skyhawk, I have never asked him about the , jockeys.
