Don't know anything about the sueing business or the selling of Wolverhampton airport, but City Hopper were taken over by CHAL, and both Bosses at BLK and Wolverhampton resigned, I don't know whether this was to do with the takeover?
As you can see at BLK, the company are extremely effective. I read an report on the airport in mid 2005, where Mr. Whelan said that BLK would have 20 destinations within 3 years. They now have this, with multiple frequencies on three of their routes. They have three aircraft based this summer, and the largest LC airline in Europe pops in four times per day. So when they say that BLK will be flying the pond in five years time, it looks like they will be!
Excellently run company. Have turned BLK from an airfield into an airport. New terminal, new airlines, and a bright future! Brilliant!
