I left Png in 1974, so I have really lost contact with the place.
However I suggest you PM, Tinpis, who lives in Darwhine, Sharpie, or Chimbu Chuckles, they were there long after I left and they, being slighty younger LAPUNS than I, may know of some wantoks (friends ) still there.
A word of advice, be always VERY aware of TERRAIN and where you ARE.
