1) Pax profile on Emirates are mostly from the South Asia. Although i must say, they are tough to handle. You will learn to handle them and if you've tried your best, they are usually understanding. And they'll write a comment form. End of story.Just so long as you've tried, its ok.
2) You start flying international right away. So you might get a mix of regional and international destinations.Fair and good mix. So you'll be fine and hopefully lucky enough.
3) Yes it was the case when i first started flying.Flights depart at wee hours in the morning ie 3am. But I've learn to get use to it.
4) The best part about doing this job is the travel. Although layover may be short, you still have time to explore the city if you make an effort. So its boils down to you. Best part is also making a pax day on the flight. When they appreciate your efforts and show it. Makes my day too.Worst thing, JETLAG. Hate it but coping with it I guess.
5) Dubai is an ok place. Its what you make of it. You get the privilege of getting out from Dubai once in while which it great. But while in Dubai, built friendships and maintain it to have a better life and but a social circle to feel less lonely. I've got 5 friends who i treasure and keep in touch at all times. So they are my base in Dubai and so am I to them. So socialise and make friends. Loneliness is how you feel if you don't make an effort to socialise, you'll only feel worse. Dubai can be superficial and take the goodness out of someone, so don't let it get to you!!
