the ba pension issue was always going to be a huge obstacle for flybe to inherit.
It is not the BA pension issue - it is the Manx/Bral pension issue - about £2 billion of a difference!!
That is why the deal is delayed.
Flybe will NOT inherit the BRAL pension scheme until its defecit has been addressed by Willie.
Until there is no risk, JF will nort sign. No matter what happens to BACON Willie is responsible up until JF signs. JF is right to ensure he is not liable for a £70-£80M bill
