Bovington, re your question on cabin sounds, the only thing I can find is a view from the cabin by doing the following
The cabin views are an option that you can choose when installing FS2K. You
have to make sure to check the option.

In the Fs2000.cfg file in the main directory is a line saying:
See_self=1 Change this to see_self=0 and you will not see interior.
