Madeofmoney, I would say I know about a dozen pilots.. ok it may not be the majority of the workforce, but it gives at least a flavour of the situation, and all those examples I have quoted are genuine. I know the truth hurts, but get your head out of the sand!
As regards negativity, I have said all along that I hope the deal works BECAUSE I know so many friends involved in BOTH companies, and I don't want to see them scrambling around looking for new employment. I care about more than myself!
If I hadn't escaped the shambles that BACON had become, I would have been prayng for success from flybe as it did offer one of the lifestyle issues I was looking for... but it would have been a very fine line weighing up the balance between the pros and cons.
Constructive posting is much more beneficial than a glib moronic reply... try it some time.
