Guys, the more people publicly disclose how they are getting skype to work, the better Etisalat will succeed at tightening the rope around our necks. Even GoreTex's advice does not guarantee success anymore since Etisalat is intensifying port scanning and getting VPN clients jammed on some instances.

Whichever solution may still be working for you does not need to be shared via publicly viewable postings. Use PMs instead.
