They're clearly waiting for the February inflation figures in the hope that those figures are lower than January's. Don't want to announce a pay award below inflation in the month when inflation peaked and the apparent 'pay cut' appears at its worst. My bet is 2.6% all round to match the pensioners. Next week is my bet.
