Moment of realism here folks!
Calm down at the back.

The main reason a lot of Barbie folk are in a tizz and looking to jump ship is that many of the LHS guys and gals have done many years of service and spent plenty of time on ATP and J41 and fee lthat they've served their apprenticships and quite appreciate the performance of the 145. It climbs well, sits above the weather and does a good airliner impression for the crews. Enough to keep them there.

To find yourself mid 30s to 40s, kids and mortgage and having to take a big step back in your career and life is an unpleasant feeling. Q400 commands are ideal for up and coming F/Os who need command time to prove their worth when times are hard, and for ex long haul grandads who want to take it easy in their last years aloft.

Call it mid-life crisis possibly, but when you approach 40, the dreams you have as a kid are still in your mind, and to be forced onto a turboprop again is soul destroying for many. Hence the morale and queue at the door. It's not vitriole at FlyBE at all, most if not all wish them well.

The important thing is a lot of Rashers have aspirations and desire to move onwards and upwards.

Then you have us fraggles who just want to get home to our families at night no matter how much the humiliation heaped upon us.

We want the deal to go through, to a man we do. We'd also really love to see the hangar go to someone who'll safeguard as many jobs as possible too.

Must be the fumes getting to me
