Looking down our base list:-
Fifty percent definitely going (of whom half already handed in notice) and another twenty percent going to "wait and see". That leaves a hard core of thirty percent staying whatever (or not giving anything away!)
Even inexperienced FOS with scarcely more than a years service, bonded and with frozen ATPLs are being scooped up and quitting.
With so much uncertainty I am not surprised to see even the late thirties/forty smething year olds with young families (who might well have stayed) now pulling up anchors and going.
Unfortunately flogging a Dash eight around the place is viewed by most as a retrograde step. We dont yet know what the terms agreed by Balpa are but what is emerging is pretty unappealing. Also the blatantly misleading adverts in "Flight" smack of pure desperation.............
Oh yes and a four grand bounty to anyone who can recruit an IRE/TRE!!!!!!!!
