The current collapses are purely due to the server being overloaded. The forum software we are currently running, UBB, was never designed to handle the number of users, number of threads or load we put upon it. Basically, the CPUs and disk can't keep up with the high number of very heavy "process start" requests.. .. .The server hardware is a high quality (and rather expensive) rack mounted "pizza box" and has never given us problems.. .. .--Mik
