A lot of people would probably agree that IC was always a complete dick, used to go on and on about how many thousand hours he had on the VC10, but not actually tell anyone they were all as a Flight Engineer!!! Pillock!
Sorry to hear about BW though, always thought he was a pretty straight sort of a bloke, hope it wasn't the Flybe effect that changed him!
