I too use both Netscape and IE5 (see Topic "Netscape 4.7 released") without problem but there are alternatives.
Try
1) Opera -

2) Neoplanet -
http://www.neoplanet.com/download/install/index.html Opera is a tiny program which works extremely well on "less powerfull" (read OLD) machines.
Neoplanet uses IE files (you must have IE 3.0 or better installed also)and is very customiseable.
Neither have email functions that are as good as IE or Netscape but if you are looking for fast and simple browsers these will do the trick.
Both will give you faster download of pages.
