I believe WDB became GKE...one of the nicer flying 402As we had.
Oops...I just noticed I forgot to retract the landing lights after my last landing...still I was about to head off to Girua and Gurney so prolly discovered my mistake as soon as I turned around
Torres pretty sure it was Lake Murray where the 402 went bush at flying speed with the nosewheel nailed down by CofG. From memory the generator went out the side when one wing hit something and spun him around...other wise our stammering mate would have been killed instead of 'just' spending a VERY long taim long haus sik. One of natures very funny fellas.
