Rather than this nonsense, simply let the computer interweave all incoming tracks to such an extent so that skippers can pull throttles at ToD and not touch them again before touchdown. It's called ACDA/Green Approach and has been going on at ESSA for over a year now.
Screw the 1090ES and go for VDL4 instead, sorted
