Autobrake - i dont expect thanks from other crew. I expect acknowledgement from the parent company that when the **** hits the fan, WE help out,dont go on strike,and come to the rescue.You want to test my knowledge of other airlines? Go ahead, I used to be moderator on another airline forum, so my knowledge basis of airlines is pretty broad, thanks very much.
If you would like to cast your mind back, BA Connect used to be British Airways Citi Express, and we were a full service airline. Not low cost. So the majority of us dont even have this "attitude" which you mentioned.
One final point,which you made at the end:
"work for who you want and be satisfied or shut up!!!"
If BA crew have got these great terms and conditions,NSP etc, then WHY do they strike over it and disrupt people's lives?Why not just work for someone else,be satisfied and shut up??????
