The new aircraft due '08 will present an enormous crewing challenge. Its possible that more than 100 pilots a year will be needed to cover fleet growth and retirements. Recruitment has been paused for some time because there has been no fleet growth in mainline and age extension has allowed many seniors to stay on. Lets not forget the surplus of crew on the 330.
