Wake Up Call

Government of Abu Dhabi, your flagship ETIHAD is on an ill fated track.

It has been hijacked by an Australian show master who has bullsh*tted his way in accompanied by a massive protective layer of incompetent and obscenely overpaid (150,000 Dhs/month) buddies.

Gone is the spirit and enthusiasm of a dynamic and cosmopolitan 21st century team that has given so much to make ETIHAD the world's leading new airline in a very short time.

Safety audits of high international standards that many other big established airlines are still seeking to achieve have been successfully passed.

Competence and teamwork is now suffocated by politics, mistrust, and a colonial management style of fear.

Working morale is at an all time low. In each and every department we have now been imposed one of these superfluous so called Executive Vice Presidents whose only task is to ensure that nobody dares to criticize his system.

There is no respect for people anymore, even the office boys are treated like sh**.

Many people want to leave.

Would they really be qualified to do this challenging job? They are coming from static airlines with structures of the past. Their records are average at best and that is the performance they have shown up to now.

They never achieved anything close to what ETIHAD had reached in the short time before they arrived.

Unfortunately, you have now exactly the type of management that you wanted to get rid of when you decided to begin ETIHAD.

The good professionals will be gone anyway as the market is booming and those who wanted to come will stay away.

Government of Abu Dhabi, how far will you let this go? Don't wait too long!

Who is writing this to you?

We are a group of honest employees working hard in ETIHAD since its conception to make ETIHAD one of the world's leading airlines. We are deeply concerned about the recent developments in our company.
