Re "cheap labour pilots in RAK":
This would perfectly match the rumour that Mr. Moritz Suter, ex CEO of swiss regional CROSSAIR is financially involved in RAK Air. Moritz Suter was the pioneer in ultra low cost regional operations in Europe. Everybody hated him, especially pilots. He would pay low wages and make you work like a dog. At the point where he could not find pilots anymore he started recruiting in former Sowjet ...ending up with 3 total hull losses during his time.
Again, it is only a rumour but worth checking..
