My Aerospace (old type) has seen about 16 years of service now; bought in Singapore, I've removed the cheap add-ons from the crown (always likely to snag on the 76's throttle quadrant etc).

Titanium case and sapphire quartz face still perfect; it's unobtrusive, lightweight and nobody notices it in the street which is a major plus in Asia. It doesn't tell me anything but the time of day and the date. It's just a watch innit.

However, be warned: battery changes should be done by an authorized Breitling Dealer with the correct tool for undoing the caseback, and a water pressure testrig to validate that the seals are properly installed and working afterwards. The charge is minimal; an ordinary watchshop won't bother. HK has a real dealer in Shun Tak Centre and Tsin Sha Tsui. But not Singapore...
