Hmm, Canada? California? - close enough!

I'd check on individual prices, but you're not looking at much more than $250 an hour dual ad $300-600 for a check ride.

Just out if interest - as of December 1st there is a straight conversion for Airplanes: As long as you have 250hrs you just need to do the written test and they give you an FAA commercial. No flight or oral.

The FAA and TCCA are working on a similar scheme for helicopters.
