dont worry about the handling agents its only because the 3 year deal was up this year, talked to the serviceair manager and he said they have secured another 3 year deal for serviceair
the reason i have heard for this consolidation of aircraft and the closure of small bases is due to the pathetic CARMAN system bought for great expensive does not work with so many crew in different bases
also i might add through a good source there will only be 3 main bases which are LGW/MAN then maybe EMA all others will be on a W flying pattern or very reduced flying and this will all happen if the cabin crew except the new deal of cap471 which will allow them to flew more than 2 sectors a day like the scheduled girls do at the mo.
and i have just heard more voluntry redundencies coming up again this year
