If you haven't already....check this out. It's quite funky. (Actually I probably got this from someone on Pprune quite a while ago)
On Excel 97
on a new worksheet
-press Ctrl + g
-in the box at the bottom type x97:l97 (l is an L not the number 1)
-then goto OK
-press tab once
-press Ctrl + Shift together and whilst holding them down, go to thr chart wizard with the mouse and click once
-Watch and fly
