"I thought you would have known that sometimes *just sometimes* people don't write perfect english whilst typing on casual communication systems, such as forums, messenger systems and email.
One of the very first things you will learn should you be successful is that in ATC we do everything correctly every time. It was drummed into me that if you always do it correctly that when the !!!! hits the fan you won't have to think you just do.
I am quite sure you think we are all anally retentive however there is a genuine perception that if you cannot even be bothered to write correctly then what hope is there that you will give your all to a very tough job.
That is not a criticism directed at you per see but at people in general who seem to think that it is OK to take short cuts.
I hope you get your news soon and if it is good perhaps a little more grace towards those who will give you a great deal of advice and encouragement won't go amiss.
