I'd like to have a play with Linux. I even have a spare laptop to do it on, and a copy of MepisLite. Trouble is, the laptop - which used to be a W98SE machine - was experimentally upgraded to XP, and now it won't complete the boot-up procedure! It
is a bit weedy - 400Mhz Celeron, 256mb RAM and 4 Gb HDD. I'd like - if I can just work out how - to strip Windows off the machine and try Linux just for a bit of fun. But can I format the bloody thing? I probably can, but I haven't worked out how....
