My guess is it depends upon what you are instructing. If it is light aircraft, then that would just be included in your total time. So if you were flying a 182 doing night freight or instructing, the hours mean pretty much the same to an interviewer. If you are on a 737 or larger then it would look good on a CV.

Instructing on jets in a cross cultural environment has challenges that are of interest to most airlines.
