Im getting an impression that there might be a discreet discriminatory policy against the local guys at vk and arik.
Ive flown with some good guys here in europe who were ex wt (nigeria airways) pilots on the b747 and a310, as f/os and capts, and i can say they can hold their own under any circumstance.
If these guys represent the typical nigerian pilot in terms of competence proficiency and aptitute, its hard to imagine the need to downgrade capts to f/os especially after having passed a pre-employment captains assesment.
We as expartrates, are already seen as on a far better renumeration package than they are, i therefore feel policies which futher create resentment and alienation should be discouraged.
