for goodness sakes I hope some of my Niger colleagues here are pilots cos its obvious whats been going on with the A340 from time and lately, that the locals are not very welcome handling their A340s and I say that with all authority.
I have seen this same scenario in other countries
with this same kind of JV.
The news about the local and west african pilots who ere dropped was all over the place and not surprising for the likes of myself, expected it.
Some of these guys, one I know well flew the Airbus for years and was an excellent aviator. What about the others who flew the A310s with airways!!!
Some of them I fly with here at Bluetail who preach Airbus everyday.
Maybe not good enough for VirginNigeria fellas eh....
THEY PREFERRED THE VIRGIN ATLANTIC CREW WHOM THEY PAID UNIMAGINABLE £££££ TO DO THE VIRGIN NIGERIA FLIGHTS.

Wont be sad to see the A340s go cos they never belonged here anyway.
