In the event of the carriage of dangerous goods a NOTOC (notice to captian) will be delivered to the flight deck and signed by the dispatcher and the Captain. This document will detail the nature of any dangerous goods carried so the crew are able to inform the emergency services of the contents of the cargo in the event of a problem.
