Do you mean portable - or just a DVD player?

Check out <a href="http://www.area450.com" target="_blank">www.area450.com</a> which has a lot of gen on DVDs UK/US spec etc. Most Sampo players have NTSC/PAL selectable output and easy ability to enable region free operation. I have a REOC A5, available in Safeway Supermarkets for £100-130. Its a rebadged clone of the Sampo 611, available in the US. It is 110/240v, region freeable, has NTSC/PAL output (irrespective of the format of the disc) selectable from the remote and is DVD, VCD, SVCD, MP3 and miniDVD compatible. Macrovision is more difficult but you can buy macrovision removers. I'll find a link for these if poss but the ones I've seen plug in through the scart socket which is a european only output.
