Bear in mind no duty free smokes allowed into Singapore. Paramount Hotel is 3 star and may offer cheapo deals but keep yr mss out of the basement (bit of a den of iniquity la).
Hong Kong is a wee bit more interesting on a broef stopover, but so is Bangkok, which is apparently a twin city with Pittsburgh.
