For those of you interested in a bit of "piece of mind" while online, go to www.softseek.com There you can find a shareware program by the name of "Burnt Cookies" (and others) which allows you to selectively keep or "burn" cookies that are placed on your HD. Also for those that are online quite a lot (or especially with a full time connection), Zone Labs provides an excellent fire wall called "Zone Alarm" which you can find there also. The access that this blocks is much more of a concern than any cookies that you may get. Also, somewhere in Symantec's website (the company that sells the Norton products) is a page that will test your browser for privacy and show you where the "holes" are( http://security1.norton.com/us/intro...=sym&langid=us ). Suprisingly (or not) most windows OSs come pre-set up for file sharing and this website will also lead you through a "re-wire" for a more secure system while online.

Not a big deal if you are not online for long periods of time and/or don't have any State secrets on your PC. Cookies are the least of our worries though.

As was just mentioned, never reply to a "remove" request as these spammers are running programs that run through names and/or words and put them in front of a server name (eg @server.name) to get your email should you reply.

Bom Voyage!
