Back to cookies, and spammail ..
I used to get very little span at my hotmail address, now I get sh!tloads. On most of the spam mails, there is a link at the bottom, which you can allegedly use, to remove yourself from the mailing list. On one of the first 'erotic site' spam mails I recieved, I cliked on this link, and entered my hotmail address, to have myself removed from the mailing list.
I could be wrong, but I recon the unscrupulous people who send these spammails, deliberatly target the poeple who use this 'remove me' link, as they know that the email address is activly in use, and is being checked. I get the odd 'erotic site' email at my yahoo address (which I use as my main email), and block them individually. I daren't take the chance again, that the 'remove me' link is genuine again.
