Our 747-200 manual says specifically, "CROSSWIND COMPONENT LIMITS (Peak Gust)".

Our 747-400 manual says, "Maximum Demonstrated Crosswind Component
(PEAK GUST, Knots)".

Airplanes, certifications, or airline SOPs may vary...
