It certainly seems to have got easier with each successive iteration of Windows (since 3.1.1 first included "networking out of the box")
I'm up to Win98 at the moment (leaving others to find all the new bugz in Win2000, WinME etc - especially with the Arabic-language versions!) It's not exactly super-secure, but for "SOHO" it's ideal for sharing printers & files.
