Try:-
First save your file as an HTML document.
Then from the menu, Insert|Hyperlink.
In the drop-down list under "Link to File or URL" select "mailto:"
The cursor is placed after the colon. Type your email address and hit return.
Your email address will appear in the document as a hyperlink and upon clicking it should start your email client. It does mine
