Die Orka Wind... Today in Germany... Explanations?

Hi, I was curious about this strong wind happending today (Jan 18th I guess not only in Germany but many places in Europe).
The news call it ORKA WIND...
At the begining I thought it was a kind of FOEHN WIND, since the temperature is very warm... but I realise it is not only here happening but also in Norhten Germany as well as other places in Europe...
Can someone give me an explanation why do we have this strong wind today?
Is it because of the strong Pressure Gradient Force??
(As you can see in the chart, a High going on in Spain and Northen Italy and a Low in Scandinavia... with a lot of isobars in between, very steep) could be that?
How often this phenomenon happens?

I appreciate a technical answer

(my first winter living in Europe and I want to familiarize myself with the local weather).
