Something which has been observed with viruses such as BadTrans / Sircam etc, is that the utilities used to clean up the virus don't seem to work that well. BadTrans is one instance where you might be better off using another Anti-virus to check that it has in fact been removed. This one went after numerous anti-virus and security programs once it was unleashed. A good place to start would be to download the free edition of AVG from
The AVG home-pageand try that. This one found the virus on at least one Win 2000 PC that was supposedly clear.
