1- The "best", bar nothing??? Probably the S92...
In the real world, the AS350 series is hard to beat, at least in my area. CHEAP, simple, durable, marginally adequate interior space.

2- Reliable.
Inexpensive.
Capacity- carry our junk, crew, and 350 lb patient for an hour leg, with 30 minute reserve. This one includes adequate space for patient care.
Performance- will do the above after a 300 foot vertical climb, at 100 farenheit, 4000 foot MSL LZ.
If there's any budget left over, I'd like an autopilot, please. The Bell "Helipilot" or whatever they call it, need not apply.

Inexpensive is actually the first 3 considerations of 5, but I'm a pilot.
