Dunno how pratical it is, because it depends on the numbers, but if you don't want to rewrite it yourself you could get someone else to do it. (Like me for example.)
Since this is essentially a hobby project and I give it away, I'm not prepared to
gasp pay. There are two very similar programs, each about 225k of Borland C++ 4.0 - and I only use the C features, not C++. At least 80% of the code is identical.
