I was wondering if someone in the know can clear up this tax increase for me?
I've got a few flights booked from last year, for travel after Feb 1st when this tax comes in and I'm now getting emails demanding more money. Now, I've heard varying rumours that the government may actually not be collecting the tax on any flights booked before 11th Dec, regardless of date of travel, in which case, the airlines concerned are clearly going to be pocketing the money themselves, something i'm loathe to let them do!!
If I've booked flights before 11th Dec, is this tax applicable and do I have to pay it?
