Perhaps this is true. But, the question remains ... why was it this pilot thought it necessary to use the rudder to counter any rolling tendency upon encountering wake turbulence in the first place? That's not what the AA Advanced Maneuver Training teaches; in fact, I'm not aware of
any teaching anywhere that advocates the use of rudder to control roll - in either high or low speed portions of the envelope.
