Young Pilot...dont be discouraged by this thread..you are in an entirely different situation, the industry will emerge from this down cycle and boom once again, there are loads of opportunities at the entry level and large regionals for new comers...but for a person looking to leave BA or similar, it just isn't there...remember..never leave a current job because it sucks, leave because the next job is a better opportunity...
The percieved discrimination against non-US citizens might have something to do with the ability to complete the required background checks surely to have been "tighgtened up" post 9-11 not sure...a wild guess???
