Hmmm... have to jump in here and correct long haul. He stated that I would not know about the hiring preferences of US majors as none have hired post 9-11.
Continental has been hiring for over 18 months. Hundreds of pilots hired there already since 9-11...... Delta has a hiring website up and running, accepting applications.
So when I wrote about issues regarding the discrimination against non-citizens, trust me I know the truth all too well!! And it is happening.
Although I agree you should do your own research and not believe all you hear. Make your own mind up, but at least try to use factual information.
