Why go through the hassles of getting a FAA cert here in the US if you are then going to convert to a JAA? What am I missing? If you specifically want to train here, why not simply train directly for the JAR and save conversion costs?
actually 100% agree. there is a lot schools in USA to get JAA-PPL
