Yes, the instruction is first grade from instructors who want to be there as opposed to young'uns just accumulating hours.
I never had a problem with plane availability or due to technical problems.
The school is fairly small, low key premises and no frills, but thats what I wanted. If you dont want all the attitude of a busy flight school, people prancing around with a bit of gold on their shoulders and thinking they are god, the PAT is a good school.
I think they are fairly priced too.
This was with regards to PAT, as is all getting very confusing with a similar named organisation.
